Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Social Media & Video Editing Intern for a short-term, seasonal position to help promote the film "Now! More! Yes!" This internship offers hands-on experience in social media management and video editing, with training provided. The position averages 4–8 hours per week for up to six months, and you can set your own schedule. While this is an unpaid role, equity points on the film may be considered for interns who remain on board and on task throughout the project.
Responsibilities:
Create, schedule, and publish engaging content on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and TikTok
Develop and implement a social media calendar aligned with the film’s release and promotional events
Edit short-form video content for social media, including trailers, teasers, and behind-the-scenes clips (training provided)
Monitor and respond to audience engagement, comments, and messages
Collaborate with the film’s production and marketing teams to share updates and exclusive content
Track social media analytics and adjust strategies to maximize reach and engagement
Identify and engage with influencers, film communities, and relevant online groups
Qualifications:
Interest in social media management, video editing, and film promotion
Strong writing, communication, and visual storytelling skills
Willingness to learn video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro or similar)
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Compensation:
Unpaid internship
Equity points on the film may be considered for interns who stay on board and on task
