Senior Coordinator, Inventory Control

The Sr Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for overall inventory accuracy with core responsibility on receiving materials accurately to ensure efficient operational flow.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Represents the Commercial Brass Operational Team by receiving materials accurately, timely, and following business accounting principles.

• Performs key accounts receivable functions and interfaces with multiple levels within the business.

• Interact with buyers and engineering to reduce receiving material defects, suggests improvements.

• Demonstrates business acumen by reconciling purchase orders, packing slips, and additional receiving functions within enterprise business system.

• Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records.

• Ensures quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct.

• Conducts analyses of inventory levels and coordinates with production and sales requirements.

• Investigates inventory and shipping discrepancies through transactional analysis and problem solving.

• Accountable to improve key performance indicators (S.Q.D.I.C.)

• May be asked to perform ancillary tasks associated within the warehouse (EX - Backup lead)

• Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.

• Performs stock checks as needed and other miscellaneous duties.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum 2 years related experience

• Ability to fluently communicate (verbally and written) data and financial figures/analysis.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND BEHAVIORS

• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within related field.

• Critical thinking and problem solving, whilst working independently under deadlines.

• Functional use of Microsoft Office Suite.
