Position Overview
Are you ready to launch your supply chain career with a dynamic, collaborative team? We are seeking an early career Supply Chain Planner who is technically savvy and thrives on synthesizing information from multiple sources. In this role, you'll be central to developing and executing comprehensive supply chain plans spanning three years, ensuring our products reach customers efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Supply Chain Planning: Analyze market demand, raw material availability, and production capacity to build and maintain a robust three-year supply chain plan.
- Raw Material Acquisition: Oversee procurement strategies, including ingredient sourcing with our parent company's overseas division.
- Import/Export Coordination: Manage logistics for international and domestic shipments, ensuring compliance with all regulations and customs requirements.
- Production Coordination: Negotiate production line schedules with toll manufacturers ("tollers") to meet demand and optimize output.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing (product managers), regulatory affairs, and external partners to align supply chain activities with customer needs and regulatory requirements.
You'll be at the heart of our internal and external networks, driving communication and cooperation across:
- Product management to meet customer demand
- Parent company's overseas division for ingredient procurement
- Toll manufacturers for production scheduling
- Regulatory affairs to ensure compliance
- Minimum five years of experience, Supply Chain education helpful
- Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and planning
- Experience with SAP (preferably Business One) and familiarity with MRP systems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize information and solve complex problems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Self-starter with a drive for continuous improvement

This is a hybrid position with a Monday and Friday work from home option. The position is based in our US headquarters located in west suburban Wilmington, Delaware.
