The salary range for this role, based in Fort Smith, Arkansas is $80,500 to $120,700 , ra nge will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’sexperience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Position Summary

To manage the efficient & effective operations of the Material Handling Division processes of pulling, staging, shipping, receiving, inventory, dry supply/glass storage, Pre-packaging, and Modification. To support both internal and external customers needs so that all corporate objectives are met. To ensure all financial objectives are achieved by tracking, monthly and annually, the key performance indicators within the team’s responsibility. To track and report the monthly key performance indicators within the Division to ensure all financial objectives are met. To ensure the safety of the employees, facility, and product by tracking, investigating, and reporting incidents within the Division. To support management, as needed, on projects and initiatives to ensure continuous improvement. To ensure all customer service, HACCP, Safety, ISO, Visual Factory, WMS and facilities up-grades are implemented and enforced. To support Material Handling Team Members with a continuous improvement program for personal and company development. To stay abreast of changing technologies, trends, legal and industry changes that could impact us or our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve Financial Targets

  • Monitor daily, weekly and monthly performance indicators to ensure operating budget for Material Handling Division tracks favorably, while developing continuous improvement initiatives to meet changing business needs.
  • Keep abreast of equipment or technology changes that could improve efficiencies, safety or quality within Material Handling and how any changes could impact other customers.
  • Monitor performance indicators of all pulling/staging programs for efficient and effective production, while working with Logistics, Supervisors, and Customer Service groups to ensure customer delivery requirements and quantities are meet on time and in full.


Achieve People Destination

  • Monitor proper number, placement and efficient use of all employees and monitor their performance while working with other Material Handling teams to develop cross functional training programs to help meet division and customer needs.
  • Ensure all ISO, Safety, HACCP, Presenteeism, and Visual Factory initiatives are being met.


Achieve Customer Service Destinations

  • Work with teams to develop and support implementation of continuous improvement programs to reduce pulling errors, meet on time shipments and increase order to fill rate of approx. 7.5 million cases per year.
  • Work with Material Handling teams, Bottling teams, and Customer Service Reps to challenge Satisfaction targets and continuously improve to achieve supplier of choice status.


Leadership and Empowerment

  • Through the involvement of department supervisors and outside resources as needed, oversee work on continuous process improvement initiatives that will reduce costs and improve employee participation, while improving our supplier of choice status.


Requirements

Education
  • Required: College Degree
  • Preferred: Bachelor's in Business Administration


Experience / Background
  • 4 years of Warehouse experience


Technical Functional Skills
  • Computer Knowledge, Financial Knowledge, Analytic Ability, DOT Knowledge, HazMat Knowledge, Problem Solving Skills, Team Building Skills
